Call for Papers
Head of Conference, Organisation Committee and Advisory Board kindly invite you to submit interesting and innovative papers to the 40 tracks and thus make the WI 2009 a successful conference. Information on submission
We kindly invite authors from either a theoretical or practical background to submit interesting papers for the tracks mentioned to be held in the conference program. They can be composed in German or in English according to the template and must not exceed 10 pages. Download the template as a dot-file for MSword. (Submissions should be in DOC format)
Please remove name, address and so on in the submitted paper. Note that an abstract of 100 words at most has to be put ahead of the text. Submission can only be effective via the conference tool.
Papers will be 3x blind reviewed. Accepted submissions will be published in the conference booklet and will be made availble for downloading. The admission of an accepted contribution into the conference booklet requires that at least one author has registered to the conference and has submitted the conference contribution.
All papers accepted will be considered for the "Best Paper Award WI 2009" and, if applicable, for the "Best Young Researcher Award WI 2009". The awards will be presented at the end of conference.
Tutorials
In addition to the agenda of the conference, tutorials of three hours will take place in parallel to the conference program. They will cover a variety of research areas in business information systems and can be held by several speakers. Please send your application to planung(at)wi2009.at
Doctoral consortium
For young researchers, the Doctoral consortium offers the possibility to present and discuss the topic of their dissertation and their approaches focusing on the content and their methods. You can find more Information about the Doctoral Consortium in "Call for Papers --> Doctoral Consortium 2009".

Young faculty consortium
The young faculty consortium offers post-docs an opportunity to discuss their methodological proceeding as well as topics related to academic career planning. The consortium will take place in parallel to the conference programme. Further information will be posted on this website.
