Track 36:  IT and Software Services

The market for IT and software services has become very dynamic and has already reached a considerable volume. Innovative services increase the division of labor between clients and technology providers. Clients purchase IT and software services from specialized suppliers and reduce their vertical depth of production, in order to concentrate on their core competences. Such the productivity and flexibility of companies can be substantially increased. This track picks up these developments and covers IT and software services from three different perspectives.

    • Vendor selection process and relationship management,
    • Control mechanisms and control concepts,
    • Performance measurement and profitability analysis
